Well, Christmas was fun. We actually did it the day after since Mom had to work. All the kids spent the night together (except Caitlin- maybe next year) and they decorated, AND ATE sugar cookies all night. They were still on their sugar high the next day. Grandad and Nana got them a fourwheeler for Christmas AND an electric scooter. Both were pretty neat. The fourwheeler was a real one w/ gas and brakes and goes up to 25 mph I believe. Not the best toy for clumsy Taylor! She did good though. They all did. You just have to yell a lot, "HIT THE BRAKES!!!" Hope all y'all had a great Christmas! We sure do wish we could have all been together!

When times seem too hard to bear & I l feel like giving up,
I vision your beautiful face, the twinkle of your eyes and things of such
The bond we created from my womb to the day you were born,
Is a mother and daughter bond that can never be torn.
With the strength and guidance of God and the blessings from above
I want to be the best mom I can be, and embrace you with all my love.
You are as precious as a flower and as gorgeous as a rose,
You have been specially made to the very tip of your nose.
You are as sweet as honey; such an innocent young child,
You are brighter than any star in the sky every time you smile.
I want you to be proud of who you are and strive to be the best,
Put forth your efforts to achieve your goals-let God do the rest.
I will always be your mother first, but I'm also your friend,
Your are the most precious gift, that I've ever been given.
I vision your beautiful face, the twinkle of your eyes and things of such
The bond we created from my womb to the day you were born,
Is a mother and daughter bond that can never be torn.
With the strength and guidance of God and the blessings from above

Well, this week was the first week of work for me. The first week I had to leave Caitlin in someone elses care. I don't like it. At all. I thought I would get over it, but I find things about her being in some elses care that I dislike more and more each day I pick her up. I just imagine her being negleted. Just laying there crying for her Mom, and what is even more weird, is I AM her Mom. I know that I am not the Mother of the Year, nor am I an expert on children, but it is so hard to leave her with someone. I guess that's normal. Boy is she growing though, and starting to get her own little personality.
