Not wanting to go to bed...

I feel kind of bad taking a picture of this, but this is what Caitlin is doing now at bed time for about 5 minutes- I feel bad, but then I battle back and forth: go get her? or should I wait five minutes? Ugh...

Sweet Baby Girl...

Caitlin is growing up! For the past two mornings, I have gone to get her out of bed and guess what I found... her diaper in the corner of the bed. She is just standing there with no diaper on, but happy as can be! I wonder what this means.

Aunt Tistie

My family lost a very dear person to us last night, Aunt Tistie. She was loved so much and we are going to miss her dearly. I am going to miss getting all her e-mails and her phone calls, she loved Caitlin so much and did not even have a chance to meet her. She is in a much better place, sitting beside her Mom and Dad, her husband, and her sister...and I know that one day we will all meet again. Please pray for our family as we make our way to Georgia and especially for all the ones so close to Aunt Tistie, for God to help take away at least some of the pain.

I ADORE this little girl! Here on some pics of her eating, or as I call it, face painting. She is starting to get a pretty good amount of baby fat, but I swear she eats healthy, and not too much. Riley is such a good big brother! Wherever she is, Riley is laying right by. I mowed the lawn this evening, and Caitlin sat in her walker and the whole time I mowed Riley sat right beside her. I couldn't quit looking at my little piece of heaven... I am so thankful for what I have and I treasure every single moment I have it. I am not sure why nor how I got this lucky....

Caitlin and Riley sure do love to play together! Here are some pics below. In case you are wondering, I do not condone the kissing on the mouth from Riley. But I knew if I waited just 10 seconds I would get a pic of him kissing her. He loves her so much. Don't worry though, after I got the picture I yelled at him, "NO KISSES RILEY!". I say that at minimum 30 times a day!

A Tooth!!!

Well, today while over at Nana's house, she pointed out that Caitlin may be getting her first tooth! Sure enough, when I looked in her mouth was this little tiny white thing starting to make it's very first appearance on her bottom gum! WOW! I am also saying wow, as in I can't believe I am getting excited over something like this... never thought I would see the day. Well, anyways, she is doing great and you would never know she was teething! She has such a great disposition. It must come from me :)

Indiana

Cait went on her first plane ride to see her Great Grandmother. What a great time we had seeing everyone! We can't wait to make to to Georgia. Hopefully in the next couple months. Macey sure was a big help with Caitlin! Oh yea!!! Caitlin crawled for the very first time at Granmothers! She put herself up on her little knees and hands and crawled all the way to some Uno cards, then crawled to Grandmothers shoe to play with it! What a joy it was for Granmother to be there for that 'first' in Caitlin's life, we will never forget that moment. Lots of firsts this trip!!! Thanks to Melissa & Macey for being so brave to make this trip with us!!!! See some pics below... Love y'all!
