Long Time

It as been a long time since I put any new pics up. Caitlin is getting so big. She got to experiences her first snow. We got like 8-12 inches I think. It went almost up to her knees. She did not like it because it was too hard for her to walk in and the dog kept knocking her down. She also did want to have a snow ball fight with me... oh well. Maybe next time...

It's been a while...

So much is going on. Caitlin is now saying a few words: Mommy (the most important), baby, Nana, Grandad, bye-bye, me, mine and I think she is saying Bad Dog. Really. She is walking really well on her own and she is so independent. She also has gotten a little temper. If I move her from something she is doing, she gets so angry and pitches a fit. Hopefully this will be short lived.
On December 28th, I have a full time Nanny starting! Yeah! No more daycare, no more waking her up early, AND she gets to stay in the comfort of her home all day long. Not to worry though, the nanny (Randi) will take her places like the park and mall and such to socialize with other kids so she is not some sort of weirdo when she grows up that can't be around others. I am so excited. This will also be a whole lot easier on me!
Also... props to Grandad who now has watched her 2 mornings! Yes, he changed her diaper and all. I gave him lessons, and even wrote 'front' and 'back' on the diapers just in case. LOL! He did a great job, and Caitlin told me she really enjoyed it.
Caitlin loves her new cousin Cody, although she is not sure what he is (first baby for her to be around). She is also SO excited for Carter to come along too! She is the oldest of 'group two' according to Grandad. So, in this group, she is the boss. She needs the practice though.

Caitlin's First Birthday!!!!!!!!

Well, I just can't believe how fast the year has gone. She is actually 1! She loved opening her presents, and Macey was such a big help in doing so. She got really upset though when she saw her cake but I would not put it in front of her because I didn't want her to burn herself. She got really happy though when she got her own cake to make a mess of herself! It was really nice for Nana,Grandad, Aunt 'Lissa', Uncle Vince, Macey, and two of my good friends to join in the celebration. Caitlin was sure glad they came to celebrate that with her. I hope the years slow down though from here, because that one went way too fast!

It's Been a While

As Melissa informed me, it's been 5 weeks since I last posted. I started working, and just as ready as I was to go back to work, I am now just as ready to stop working and stay at home again! I miss all the time with Caitlin. I am managing la Madeleine, and so far so good. It's a lot more laid back than I am used to you. Caitlin will be turning 1 in just 2 weeks! Time flys by so fast! She has taken a few steps on her own, but she is not really 'walking' yet, and I could have sworn she was going to be an over achiever and walk when she was 9 months. Well, she can still be my over achiever! She just prefers to crawl around, and she hangs things out of her mouth just like she sees Riley running around with toys and such in his mouth. I swear she thinks she's a dog. When Riley runs outside, she crawls as fast as she can to the dog door, and lifts up the flap and watches him. When it rained for a few days, she just posted herself at the dog door, and looked out watching the rain! Good for me it kept her busy!

Ok... In the past week she has pushed a case of diapers next to the window, crawled on top and looked out the window at Riley playing outside. She learned that she LOVES to take all tupperware and bakeware out of the cabinets and leave it for Mommy to clean up. She has taught herself to climb up one stair to hold on to the baby gate and cry because she wants to go farther, but yet she does not know how to get back down off that one stair. She has learned that she loves Riley and takes him toys (in which he loves to take from her and takes the toys outside and we don't really see them again). She has learned to play her 'bathroom flutes' and plays a pretty good tune! It is so funny in the morning when she wakes up and I get her from her crib, we come downstairs and as soon as she sees her brother (Riley) she just starts giggling. She found the roll of toilet paper in the bathroom, and as you will see she decided she was going to make an outfit of it!!! Crazy, but I think they have some plan of taking me over! I am not sure who I should go after anymore when things are awry. Her new nickname from me is T-R-O-U-B-L-E with a capital 'C'. It sounds great when I sing it!!!
